SMS Opt-In Disclosure

Program operated by OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS LLC · https://www.oipone.com

1. What this program is

OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS LLC operates the Operations Intelligence Platform (“OIP”), a facility operations reporting system used by building operators and facility-services contractors. As part of that system we send operational SMS notifications to facility employees of our customers.

This is a single program. There is no second message stream, no marketing list, and no affiliate or partner messaging of any kind.

2. Who receives messages

Messages are sent only to employees of our customer facilities who have given prior written consent to receive them, and whose job includes responding to the operational reports the platform routes.

We do not message members of the public. A person who scans a QR code to report an issue submits that report anonymously and is never asked for a phone number, is never enrolled, and never receives a message from us. We do not purchase, rent, append, or otherwise acquire phone numbers from any third party.

3. What the messages contain

Messages are strictly operational and relate to work assigned to the recipient:

  • Task assignment — an issue has been reported in a zone the recipient is responsible for during the current shift.
  • Reminder — an assigned task has not yet been acknowledged or marked complete.
  • Escalation — an unacknowledged report is being raised to a supervisor, who is notified.

We do not send marketing messages, promotions, advertising, offers, surveys, or political or charitable solicitations through this program.

Illustrative message: “OIP: New report at Building C, Restroom 2F-01 — fixture leak. Acknowledge in the app. Reply STOP to opt out.”

4. How consent is obtained

Consent is collected in writing from each individual employee, on a signed enrollment form provided by their employer during onboarding or shift setup, before any message is sent to their number. The form states the program name, the categories of message in section 3, the frequency in section 5, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out.

  • Consent is a separate, affirmative act — the employee signs for it specifically.
  • The consent box is never pre-checked and consent is never bundled into another agreement.
  • Consent is never implied from employment, from a job assignment, from providing a phone number for another purpose, or from any prior relationship.
  • Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of employment and is not required to use any part of the platform. An employee who declines receives the same assignments through the application instead.
  • Our customers are contractually required to obtain and retain this written consent and to produce the record on request.

5. Message frequency

Up to 10 messages per enrolled employee per week. Volume tracks the reports actually filed at the recipient’s facility, so a quiet shift may produce none at all. Messages are transactional and are sent only when an event requires the recipient to act.

6. Cost

Message and data rates may apply.

Operational Intelligence Systems does not charge recipients for these messages. Any charge comes from the recipient’s own mobile carrier under their plan.

7. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message from this program. Opt-out is processed immediately and automatically; no further messages are sent to that number. We send one final message confirming the opt-out, and nothing after it.

We also honour the standard variants: STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. A recipient who opts out can re-enroll later only by signing a new consent form — we will not re-add a number on a verbal request or on an employer’s instruction alone.

Opting out of SMS does not affect employment or access to the platform; assignments continue to appear in the application.

8. How to get help

Reply HELP to any message and you will receive a reply identifying the program and pointing to this page and our support address. You can also contact us directly at support@oipone.com.

Carrier support is not provided by us — carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy of phone numbers

Phone numbers collected for this program are used only to deliver the operational messages described in section 3. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with any third party, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the telecommunications provider that transmits the message on our behalf, solely to deliver it.

Full detail on retention and deletion is in our Privacy Policy. Use of the platform is governed by our Terms of Service.
